whats going on now?

Postby vtecstomper on Tue Mar 09, 2010 12:40 pm

ok so i was sitting inm y car while at idle and it dropped like 200rpm and shook a bit then went back to 900..2 mins later the same thing..then the same thing..i went to vw and threw a primary02 sensor code(the one in my DP) and a catcode(i dont have a cat) i am going back to edmonton where i got my apr so they can reflash it and apparently they can get rid of the secondary02 sensor code for good(from my cut cat)..so my whip is at vw right now getting a new primary 02 sensor and a coolant temp sensor as well...i hope this fixes the problem..i have cleaned my maf and the TB is clean? wouldnt i throw other codes if it was gonna be something else?

I was thinking it could be bad coilpacks, but you should have thrown misfire codes from that.

Saskatoon has an APR dealer. Why would you go to Edmonton?

As far as I know thats how APR works. You get flashed once for the 500+ and then the next ones are cheaper.
But yes, call Performance Plus and find out for sure.

On the tap in tee if you used that, was there a little brass concave fitting with a pinhole in it? From what i have read and exprienced that little fitting gets rid of all the vibrations like you are describing

the tee i have is just a hard plastic one that i put my vac hose over and clamped...i know its tight and i used to have the brass fitting pinhole on the back of my gauge and i thought that was where the problem was coming from so i changed it to just putting a bigger vac hose right over the nipple on the back of the gauge and it seemed to help a little. and mike i would never drive a honda lol
