Windshield Wipers

Postby LucianVonDooom on Wed Mar 03, 2010 1:10 pm

I'm beginning to think that it's time I bought some new wipers, since one of mine isn't working all that great. Question is, what should I get? Are there any that really stand out for you folks? OEM? Or after market? And where would be the best place to get some? Money isn't really an obstacle. I want something great or cool. Doesn't have to be economical. Suggestions?

I rock Reflex wiper blades on all my rides. I like em just fine. They're available at Parts source or Canadian Tire.

I put a set of OEMs on hold for me at the dealership. I'll pick em up after work. I might also check out some other ones but I'll go with OEM for now.

Thanks folks!

I've run the reflex one's before, didn't work out that great for me, I went out and bought the Bosch +platinum (not sure on name) and they work really well, and look pretty good as well.

A little late for this. But the best wipers to buy are... get ready....the very cheapest ones Canadian Tire and Walmart sell.

They work great when fresh, last a few years, and they are super cheap. You just toss them for a new set when they start to smear.. All wipers wear out fast, it's just a matter of $20 for a set or $50-$60. Gimicky wipers actually don't even work as good as the cheap ones. I know, I got burned on a $60 set for our New Beetle. Stick with the cheapies.
